Traditional Internship
Applications are open from October 1st to January 8th 2023
Pay the application fee by the 9th December 2022
You will receive notice of whether you have progressed to the next stage of selections by the 23rd December 2022.
In early February 2023, short-listed applicants will be asked to submit preferences from a list of available internships.
By early March 2023, successful applicants will be chosen based on their preferences and suitability.
Throughout March 2023 we will notify successful candidates of their nomination, send through their application package, and set them up on the international Exchange Platform (EP).
Once completed, your package is sent through to the employer via the EP for confirmation.
Once confirmed, we will put successful applicants in touch with the IAESTE committee in their receiving country. This committee will provide assistance throughout visa applications (if applicable) and help with other necessary steps needed to commence placement.

Notes
The list of traditional internships we send is exclusive to our applicants – they are not advertised elsewhere, or available to students from other countries or those who have not submitted traditional applications.
Fees
- $60 Application Fee due when you apply.
- $500 Administration Fee payable only by those who successfully complete the application process and obtain an internship.This fee is due once your internship has been confirmed.
